Monument, CO Photography Studio Tour

I am so excited to show you my photography studio that is coming together for By Design Photography in my Monument, CO location!

When I first began my photography journey nearly 15 years ago, I was working solely out of my college dorm room. All sessions were outdoors and I edited at my tiny dorm room desk. I learned so much during this time.

As time went on, I started to do in-studio sessions. What this meant for me was setting up my backdrop stand and lights in the living room. The props I used were stored away and needed to be pulled out each time I had a session. I worked, but I must admit, it was a pain to have to set up and take down each time I had a session.

While still in Colorado, I finally got the chance to have a permanent location. We set up the photography studio in the spare bedroom in the basement. It was so good to finally be able to have everything have a place. It worked so well for what I needed.

But finally, I have a designated studio set up with space, and the natural light makes everything so bright and open. I can easily say that it is my favorite room. My happy place! It’s filled with all the beautiful colors, bows, hats, lovies, and props that I love to use in your sweet baby’s newborn sessions.
