The sweetest little lady was in the studio a few weeks ago for her Indiana newborn portraits! She brought along her momma and her grandma, and she is such a loved little girl! I love when parents plan to get photos at their newborn session. There is never a time again when the baby will be this tiny. Tiny enough to snuggle right up against your chest knowing they are safe in your arms! Their sweet baby scent and the little smiles they give as they are drifting off to sleep are just the best!
When I start to plan a newborn session, I always ask parents if they have certain colors in mind. Colors that will be in the nursery, or in the family room where they may hang a gallery wall of their session. This is to make sure that your final work of art fits seamlessly into your current design. This momma surprised me though with a request for red. I have to be honest. Red is not a color I have had requested by a client before! I have little items to add details of red into a session, but I didn’t have any backdrops in red. So I got to work finding some beautiful red backdrops to use, and topped it off with these pretty red flowers!
After lulling little Amiri into a deep sleep with these beautifully styled wrapped photos at the beginning, I slowly unwrapped her and was able to get some of my favorite shots in a session. I love that these poses show just how limber the baby had to be to fit in momma’s belly just days before. She tucked herself in and snoozed away as we rounded out the session with this sweet photo!
I just love getting the honor of capturing your baby’s newborn session. All the sweet little details and memories get artfully combined to make lasting artwork in albums and wall art. This family chose to have their favorite photos added to a petite heirloom album and to share their favorites with grandparents in the accordion albums.
I’d love to get to capture your precious memories too! Check out the newborn gallery and contact me today for more information about scheduling your own Jeffersonville, Indiana Newborn Photography session!
