Manitou Newborn Session | Warren

Let me introduce you to the sweetest little guy! Warren’s Manitou newborn session was highly anticipated after getting the chance to do mom’s maternity photos just a few weeks before. Warren decided to keep us on our toes by deciding to join us early!

It’s not every day that a little one decides to make a grand entrance before their expected arrival date. But that’s exactly what baby Warren did! This precious little boy surprised his family in the best possible way, arriving a little early during the holiday season while they were out of state visiting family. What followed was a whirlwind of excitement, a long drive back home, and a newborn session filled with love and joy.

By the time they made it to the hospital and welcomed their sweet little boy, Warren’s family was overjoyed—and exhausted—but nothing could have prepared them for the overwhelming love they would feel when they finally held him in their arms. Warren was a perfect little bundle of joy, and his Manitou newborn session was nothing short of magical.

In the session, we captured all the little details that make these early moments so precious: the tiny hands, little toes, soft wisps of hair and eyelashes, and the peaceful expressions of a newborn who’s still adjusting to the world.

After getting him comfortably wrapped up, Warren peacefully drifted off to sleep as we set him up in some adorable props. One of the most heartwarming moments was when we placed him in a tiny brass bed, which made him look like a little prince tucked into a dreamy, cozy world of his own. His tiny features looked even more angelic as he slept soundly, oblivious to the world around him.

There’s nothing cuter than a tiny baby all wrapped up in a basket! It was so sweet to see how peacefully he slept. The serene moments in these props were a perfect reflection of his easygoing nature and the warmth that surrounded him as he entered this world.

After finishing up with the prop poses, I gently unwrapped him from his core swaddles to capture some of the classic newborn poses. I almost always start with the froggy pose, and Warren’s session was no different. He settled right in and we got some adorable photos. Just take a look at that adorable pout!

Watching him so relaxed and comfortable as he slept was a beautiful reminder of the pure innocence and calm that newborns bring into the world. Every little detail—from his soft, squishy cheeks to those tiny, perfect fingers—was captured with love and care, creating memories his family would cherish forever.

As we wrapped up his newborn session, we couldn’t help but feel so grateful to have been a part of documenting such a sweet chapter in this family’s story. There’s nothing quite like the first days with a newborn—those quiet moments filled with wonder, joy, and love.
