The By Design Photography experience walks you through four easy steps. It is designed to help make your session fun and easy as you walk away with beautiful memories and a forever product you get to display in your home!

Design Consultation

Once you have signed the contract and paid the session fee/retainer, we will schedule a session date for your maternity, milestone, or family session, or a tentative session date based on your due date for your newborn session. We will also schedule a design consultation so that we can work out all the details to design your session. We can talk about what products you are interested in, and you can show me photos of your home so that we can get a good idea of what will coordinate well and what size artwork will best fit your space. Your products are designed with your family in mind!

The Session

When the big day finally arrives, you will have reached the easy part! All you have to do is relax and I will get some great shots. We will have the session in my fully stocked studio or on location. No need to bring anything! We will have already walked through colors, outfits, and gowns before your session, and I will have everything ready to go! Everything is sanitized and washed after each session.

Viewing and Ordering Appointment

This is always everyone’s favorite part! After your session, we will schedule an ordering session for you to come back about a week later to see your fully edited session photographs! Here, you will enjoy refreshments while viewing your beautiful photographs on a slideshow. From there, I will guide you through choosing products to display in your home, as well as any add-ons you want to send to family or friends. You will get to see all the very best photographs from your session. You might even cry! These sessions are such an honor for me to be able to hear the excitement of precious memories! Please have all decision-makers present, as you will be placing your order that day. Payment is required at this time.

Delivery

When your beautiful products arrive, it is a joy to let you know that you get to take them home! They will be ready for delivery within 2-3 weeks after your ordering session. I will contact you when your products arrive and we will arrange a time for delivery or for you to pick them up at my studio. After you receive them, I love to see how you are enjoying them! I love getting final photos of them being displayed in your home to be seen every day!
